Singer-Songwriter – Writer – Guitarist – Creator Nerd
As I have mentioned, The Boss’s (aka Susan Gibson) new album TightRope comes out on Valentine’s Day. It’s been a lot of fun work to get things ready for the release…a flurry of artwork and emails and mailing labels and such. Such a flurry and so much fun that I kind of forgot that this album contains my first recorded co-write with someone else. The “someone else” happens to be one of my favorite writers ever amen be still my heart. It’s surreal.
Here is one of the first reviews of TightRope to cross the e-wire…and it’s in Dutch. Good luck with that. They say good things. Also note that their selected track is the one I had a hand in…”Lovely When You Cry.”
How do you say “HECK YEAH!” in Dutch?

I don’t know If there is a proper translation for that, but I would say: (Dat is) fantastisch!!
(Which is: (that’s) fantastic when you translate it back to English)
Greetings from The Netherlands,

Hey Jana… I’m sure you already know this (being the multi-media baroness that you are), but Google Chrome will translate the text on most web pages from dozens of languages to English, or whatever. And, you’re right – they DO say good things about the album “Tightrope”.
Congrats on your first (recorded) co-write – the first verse sounds GREAT. (Might have to invest in the CD to hear the rest of it, eh?) ;-} Do you gals ship across the border to Canada? Or, maybe I should use iTunes…
